"When a girl knows her worth, no one can write her story for her."
RISE Her Foundation exists because violence and limitation rarely start with a single moment — they start with conditions: a girl denied education, denied independence, denied the chance to know her own worth. We believe an educated, financially capable, and psychologically whole young woman isn't just safer — she becomes the one who breaks the cycle, for herself and everyone she touches.
We serve girls ages 12–18 through three stages of growth — Roots, Growth, and Launch — meeting each girl exactly where she is, from building identity and confidence, to financial literacy and leadership, to stepping into the world with a plan and a sense of self.
RISE Her was founded by Yvette Ebanks, who experience abuse in relationship because she didn't know her worth.
"I wish someone had spoken light and life into me. I had to pull myself up on my own — but today, I get to do that for someone else."

The ROOTS Program is RISE Her Foundation's signature initiative, designed to help girls discover their identity, build confidence, and develop the skills they need to thrive. Through engaging, activity-based sessions, participants explore self-worth, leadership, financial literacy, emotional well-being, and personal safety in a supportive environment. The program empowers every girl to grow with purpose, resilience, and the confidence to create a brighter future
